Job Summary:
The Qualified Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Professional (QIDP/QDDP) is under the direction and guidance of the Executive Director. This person is responsible for the implementation, coordination, integration, and monitoring of active treatment for individuals who reside in a residential group home and those who receive in home service.

Skills:

- Knowledge in the area of supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

- Knowledge in the area of supporting individuals with psychiatric diagnosis.

- Knowledge of acceptable social, work, and interpersonal behavior.

- Knowledge of and ability to adhere to a professional code of ethics.

- Knowledge of computers and Microsoft software products.

- Knowledge of basic supervision/management principles and practices.

- Ability to demonstrate effective leadership skills

- Ability to observe and assess the needs of individuals.

- Ability to perform basic math functions and maintain financial records.

- Ability to maintain information in a confidential manner.

- Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task.

- Ability to understand and implement positive approaches.

- Ability to create and foster a home environment that operates under the main components of real choices, respect, and the development of meaningful relationships.

- Knowledge and the ability to utilize good listening skills and comprehend verbal instructions given in English.

- Ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English.

- Ability to write legibly in English in a clear, concise, and logical manner.

- Ability to speak clearly and express self effectively in English

Education and Experience Requirements:

-A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with at least one of year experience in a human services field (including, but not limited to: sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, and psychology)

Other requirements:

-Must be able to work flexible hours to meet individual's and program's needs.

-Provide on-call services for the program, as needed in rotation with the Director.

-This company requires employees to have a clean background check without any felonies and for the employee to pass a drug screening.

-Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individual to appointments.

-Must be able to drive company vans and accompany individuals into the community and provide support and assistance in interactions in the community while maintaining sensitivity to the rights and dignity of the individual.

Celebration Group Homes Inc. in Albertville, AL is looking for direct care professionals to join our strong team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working.
This position is at one of our group homes with adults with intellectual disabilities. As a direct care team member, you would be assisting individuals with their bathing, feeding, check and changing, along with other daily living skills. There is some lifting involved as well. Passion for caring for others is a requirement.
*A $1,000 sign on bonus is available for night shift employees who maintain a year of employment. The bonus will be paid out quarterly. For every three months a person is employee with CGH, they will receive a $250.00 bonus for one year equaling $1,000 total.
We have full time night shift positions available at this group home.
Full Time:
You will work on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. Pay rate for this position is $12/hr with opportunities to move into leadership positions with pay raises. Hours vary. The following hours are offered to full time 8p-8a
Responsibilities:
Provide assistance to Individuals in day to day activities
Communicate with management about Individuals health or issues that may arise.
Prepare and administer meals in accordance with dietary needs.
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain empathetic to individuals’ needs
Computer skills are required for documentation.
High attention to detail
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Celebration Group Homes Inc. in Albertville, AL is looking for RN/LPN to join our strong team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working.

This position is at one of our group homes with adults with developmental disabilities. As a team member, you would be responsible for administering insulin injections for two individuals, tube feedings for one individual, etc. The full time position would also be assisting individuals with daily living skills. Passion for caring for others is a requirement.

We have a part time position available at this group home.

You will do skilled nursing ONLY. Each day includes providing skilled nursing (insulin shots for 2 individuals and tube feeding via kangaroo pump for 1 individual). The times each day are 7a-8:30, 11a, 5p-6p. The tasks do not take long to complete but you are paid for a total of 4 hours each day. The homes are located within about 5-8 minutes of each other. You will travel between three different homes. Pay rate for skilled nursing is $38 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Provide assistance to Individuals in day-to-day activities.

Communicate with management about Individuals health or issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain empathetic to individuals’ needs

High attention to detail.

Active nursing license with the state of Alabama.
