I have such an aspirational pile of reading materials as I continue piecing together Love & Honey Botanicals. This stack is such an inspiration, and I can't wait to get a look at their secrets.

As a Momma, finding the time to go through these - thoughtfully, peacefully, with a mind wide open - can feel impossible. One book at a time, and thank goodness for my library 😘😘😘 Never stop learning!

One of my favorite bee questions is "where do they go in the winter", the answer never ceases to awe people. They're right here! Winter bees "cluster" around the queen, keeping her warm all winter until the blossoms of spring arrive.

Overwintering in the north is unique to small-scale beekeepers. Large beekeeping operations keep their hives on pallets, and transport them across the country based on seasonal blooming.

Never heated, never filtered, 100% pure. Why are we so passionate about our raw honey? Is your little honeybee suffering from a cold? In recent studies, honey has proven to be as effective as cough suppressants in children.

For children ages 1 to 5 years: Try half a teaspoon of honey.
For children ages 6 to 11: Try one teaspoon of honey.
For children 12 or older: Try two teaspoons of honey.
If honey is given at bedtime, make sure your child's teeth are brushed afterward.
Honey should never be given to infants under one year of age.

Unfortunately, there's no cure for the common cold. Antibiotics may be used to fight bacterial infections, but they have no effect on viruses. The best you can do is to make your child comfortable. Here are ways to help your child feel better.
