Recently, Instagram introduced a new feature on the app: Location Services.

The new map, which can be found on top of Instagram’s message inbox, allows users to share their live location while they are using the app.

We need to be mindful and aware who we are sharing our location with and always keeping our head on a swivel!

💔 The family of Michelle Gracia spoke out about justice on Wednesday.

Michelle was shot and killed by her boyfriend, Michael Duran, in a murder-suicide at their midtown home earlier this week.

Duran was out on pre-trial services after a judge released him rather than keep him behind bars in June.

⚠️ New Mexico's 2025 Intimate Partner Violence Death Review reveals critical insights we all need to know.

The team reviewed 26 IPV incidents in 2021 that resulted in 28 deaths across 16 counties. Here are the key findings that demand our attention:

🔸 23 deaths involved fi****ms - including 12 perpetrators legally prohibited from gun possession
🔸 35% of incidents occurred in PUBLIC locations (driveways, parking lots, streets)
🔸 29% happened with children present
🔸 Incidents spanned both urban and rural communities

With 1 in 3 New Mexico adults experiencing IPV in their lifetime, awareness and prevention are more crucial than ever.
