Albuquerque Road Runners

Founded in 1985, we are Albuquerque's oldest and largest open running club. We welcome runners and walkers of all abilities. Come out and have fun with us!

We are a running club dedicated to improving health and wellness in our community through running, walking, and other activities. Join us for our monthly meetings which are held at the Domingo Baca Community Center the first Wednesday of each month at 730pm. Please take a look at our site for additional information about group runs, activities, and volunteer opportunities through the club. Come out and have fun with us- membership is just $15/year (or $20/year for the whole family) and we would love to welcome you to the club!

ARR GROUP RUNS: Saturday Morning - crisp and cooler (time for tights and long sleeves for many) starting at Los Poblanos Open Space and running through area neighborhoods. Sunday Morning - smaller group because many of our usual crew were pacing or racing at the Duke City Marathon. Hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather! Monday Evening - along the bike paths in the NE heights. Julia and John joined us for the first time, Julia fresh off finishing the Appalachian trail in September (all 2,197 miles)! Join us next week when we will run along the residential streets east of tramway in search of the best Halloween decorated homes! Extra credit if you show up in costume😊.

Jake from Altra Shoes in Product Testing reached out with an offer that might interest our ARR runners. Here are the details:
We're looking for runners and walkers that wear men's size 10 and women's size 8 who can put at least 15 miles/week on the shoes and fill out a few surveys along the way. We reach out with shoes we want tested (next round starts in August, but you don't have to test everything we offer), tests last for 8 weeks, then you send the shoes back. Participants get a 40% discount code to Altra for every test they complete. We need every level of ability and experience so if you're interested, you can register on our testing platform, or you can reach out to me at jacob_riley@vfc.com if you want some more info.
