Educateducare The educateDUcare program is a social development program that utilizes facts, compassion, diet and empathy as the tool to effect social change.

This is a program of Sprouting Compassion. The educateDUcare program was launched in 2016 by Reverend, author and vegan activist, Nancy Arenas as a not-for-profit project. educateDUcare is an in-school residency designed for every child, regardless of background or experience. Our objective is to build social consciousness, self-reliance and sense of worth in children
through the practice of compassion for themselves and others. educateDUcare residencies are integrated into the school day, cultivated through curriculum integration and aligned with various states’ Standards for …We have developed a syllabus of educateDUcare lessons that nurtures a fun learning environment, while nurturing respect, team work, confidence, courtesy, a sense of joy and achievement. Essentially, we “teach empathy and compassion in a series of lessons.”

educateDUcare is an effective program for teaching humane education, the program provides many other benefits. A educateDUcare residency creates a learning atmosphere that engages all of the intelligences -- stimulating students who are typically withdrawn and reserved, to step out and shine. Engaging in educateDUcare focuses children’s energies to a healthier way of life and increases their understanding of our connection to each other and the world around us.. In a school, the educateDUcare residency builds community among its participants and within the school community as a whole.
