🦵 Jumping is powerful. Landing is protective.
Most athletes train how high they can jump…
But how you land matters just as much, if not more.
Poor landing mechanics can increase stress on the:
• Knees
• Ankles
• Hips
• Low back
Over time, that extra stress raises injury risk for issues like ACL tears, ankle sprains, and tendon pain.
✅ Good landing mechanics help:
• Absorb force through the hips and glutes
• Keep knees tracking properly
• Improve balance and control
• Reduce unnecessary joint load
• Improve performance consistency
At our clinic, we don’t just strengthen muscles, we coach how your body handles impact. Better mechanics = safer movement + better performance.
If you jump, cut, sprint, or change direction in your sport, landing mechanics aren’t optional, they’re essential.
