This is last weeks leg day …. What’s your favorite thing to do in the gym? Back/bi/shoulders is my fave, but I DO Love me a good leg 🦵 day! 🤗🧐🏋️‍♀️ My books are open on Tuesdays and Thursdays for one on one Personal Training, partner or small group… let’s go !

My “go-to” core routine: the 3 C’s (crunch, crossovers, circles and planks) 2-3 rounds of each exercise. Fun fact: Bosu stands for BOth Sides Up. You can choose dome side down (DSD) for: planks, mountain climbers, squats, etc.. or dome side up (DSU) for squat jumps, lunges, lateral movements… or use it for core work like this. It’s one of the most versatile tools I use because it helps develop balance and coordination.

If you’re looking for something other than eggs and egg whites for a high protein breakfast, give this sandwich a try. I used a toasted bagel thin, two pieces of “Never Any Brand” bacon, some lettuce, sun-dried tomatoes, a laughing, cow cheese wedge – herb, flavored, some diced green onion, half of a small avocado, a sprinkle of Nothing But The Bagel Seasoning, and I added a scoop of Optimum Nutrition’s whey protein mixed with water on the side just to boost the protein. Great stats and I will be full until lunch for sure! If these types of recipe posts are up your alley-follow for more! 🤩

Just sharing a moment of gratitude 🙏. One of most favorite things in the whole world is witnessing a sunrise on the beach and watching the birds fish.🏝️ Just got back from a birthday trip to .puertomorelos. The town is small, safe and has a lot of expats from the US living there. We immediately met some people from Abilene and had such a great time meeting up with them throughout the week. My two favorite restaurants were Mems and Taninos. We didn’t snorkel, but the area has the second largest live coral reef in the world and we met some amazing divers I can recommend. We stayed at The Fives, it had great staff and the hotel has a rooftop pool for adults only and a beachside pool for kids. It was pet friendly and had a decent gym-but you have to remember to turn the air on yourself-bc when the sun 🌞 hits around 9am it cooks you. 🤣 We skipped the all inclusive because we like to go out into the town. I would give the food at The Fives a 3.8 out 5. If you’re looking for a relaxing low key vacation, I would recommend checking it out. 🥰🤩

Looking for a breakfast recipe that’s easy, filling and good for you? Overnight oats with raspberries has been one of my go-to’s lately. 1/2 C milk of choice 1/3 C old fashioned oats, 1-2 T. Chia seeds, 1/4 t cinnamon. Mix in a bowl or jar and let sit in the fridge overnight. Top with berries (and whipped cream if you’re feeling fall fancy) in the morning and enjoy. Sometimes I add honey or maple syrup if I don’t have berries.
