Meet Linda, a 72-year-old grandmother who started her fitness journey with me four weeks ago at the gym! 💙 When Linda first joined, she was nervous but excited to get started - and let me tell you, she had the best attitude from day one! We began with a DEXA scan to track her body composition and bone density, followed by a resting metabolic rate test to determine her daily caloric needs for strength gain and fat loss. Next up was a movement screening, which helped me create a customized strength, cardio, and brain training program focusing on Neuroplasticity. Fast forward to week four, and Linda's crushing it! She's lost a few pounds, but more importantly, she's fallen in love with coming to the gym. The whole staff adores Linda, and her positivity is contagious. We're so grateful to have her! 💕 Do you know anyone looking for a safe and fun environment to start their fitness journey?

Winner winner chicken dinner! I just won The People’s Choice Award our church’s chocolate and chili cookoff using ‘s WHITE CHICKEN CHILI RECIPE! It’s high in protein and quick and easy to make in the crockpot. I cooked my chicken ahead of time on low for 4-6 hours in the crockpot using a package of taco seasoning and a tablespoon of Caldo de Pollo. The rest of the recipe is as stated in her recipe. I recommend you go follow her and hit up her website for the recipe STAT! So good!! 😋 🌶️🍜

My “go-to” core routine: the 3 C’s (crunch, crossovers, circles and planks) 2-3 rounds of each exercise. Fun fact: Bosu stands for BOth Sides Up. You can choose dome side down (DSD) for: planks, mountain climbers, squats, etc.. or dome side up (DSU) for squat jumps, lunges, lateral movements… or use it for core work like this. It’s one of the most versatile tools I use because it helps develop balance and coordination.
