This month, we’re happy to spotlight Sharon A., who has been part of the Cottage Grove Place community for nine years. After a career as a registered nurse, Sharon also spent 13 years as our full-time receptionist, a role that helped her build meaningful connections throughout the community.

Her ties to Cottage Grove Place run even deeper. Sharon’s mother once lived here, and the care she received made Cottage Grove Place feel like a natural place for Sharon to call home.

Today, Sharon describes our community as comfortable, happy, and caring. She enjoys attending guest speakers and performances and continues to work two evenings a week as a receptionist, saying it’s a wonderful way to stay connected and get to know people.

Last week’s LifeCare Luncheon was a wonderful afternoon at Cottage Grove Place! Guests enjoyed a beautifully prepared meal from our culinary team while learning more about the LifeCare promise from our panel of experts and what it means for long-term peace of mind.

Events like these also give our current residents a perfect opportunity to share what they love most about our community, adding a personal perspective to an afternoon centered on connection, clarity, and thoughtful planning.
