Michael Ketterer’s story is one of fame, failure, redemption, and radical surrender to God.

Michael grew up experiencing trauma, but went on to become a successful musician and part of the worship group United Pursuit. He and his wife later adopted 5 children out of foster care, many of whom came from traumatic backgrounds — dedicating their lives to loving and healing children who needed a home. ❤️

Then America met Michael on America’s Got Talent, where he made Simon Cowell cry, received the Golden Buzzer, made it to the finals, and became known as America’s most loved man. 🌟

But right after the finals, his life took a dark turn.
He was arrested, TMZ released a story, and overnight he went from being loved by millions to being judged by the world. He even lost the opportunity to open for Garth Brooks, who cancelled the show.

This painful season led Michael into a struggle with alcohol, shame, and brokenness — until he found recovery, radical surrender to God, and true humility. 🙏

Now Michael is creating music from a completely different place — authenticity, surrender, and truth. His new song “Ordinary Man” is a reflection of that journey and what it means to surrender everything to God.
