Hi, Iβm Robin Richardson & Iβm a lifelong learner who has dedicated my career to public service, collaborative partnerships & community engagement. Because Iβve lived with two chronic conditions, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, for most of my life (& didnβt know it until recently!) & Iβve had Long Covid since 2024, Iβve been on a life-long journey to feel whole. BREATHING SPACE was created to support those with chronic conditions but can benefit anyone trying to thrive in a human body. BREATHING SPACE offerings β breathwork, meditation, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and reiki β have personally helped me to discover more space in my body, in my schedule and in my soul, resulting in more energy, reduced symptoms, and improved connection to my mind, body, and spirit. WHY MINDFULNES? Often our suffering doesn't come from our environment. It comes from our patterns, our rushing, & the stories our minds tell us. By slowing down for a moment & noticing what comes up, over time, we can literally reduce our own suffering. Mindfulness is a practice that can be uncomfortable and may take time to see the benefits just like a new workout. Our evidence-based offerings have proven to help many people alleviate much suffering, some of which have been utilized for thousands of years. I aim to make all offerings accessible regardless of experience, age, background, income or health status. In playing with mindfulness, there is no need to be intimidated or hard on yourself.
