Our 6th Annual Battle Borne Walk For Wellness, will take place at The Wooden Match in Bethlehem PA, on May 16th 2026 πŸ’œ

Did you know that in 2021, our inaugural event put $9,000 back into the community?

When we sat down for our first committee meeting in 2019, the mission was clear:
β€’ Bring our community together to combat the stigma of mental health and recovery.
β€’ Raise money to support local grassroots non-profits like ours, and support the "boots on the ground" movements.

Looking ahead to our second annual event we set an ambitious goal and reached that one as well.

On May 16th, 2026, we will be hosting our 6th Annual Battle Borne Walk For Wellness 5K and Community Event.

Let's make this year our biggest and best year yet in the fight to stop the stigma πŸ’œ

There's a reason we started our fight against Food Insecurities, through programs like our MilitaryShare Food Distribution, and our Veterans Resource Center Supply Pantry, back in 2023.

In 2023, 13.5% of U.S. households (18.0 million) were food insecure, a statistically significant increase from 2022, with 47.4 million people living in these households. This includes 5.1% of households (6.8 million) experiencing very low food security. Factors like race, ethnicity, and disability, can affect food insecurity rates, with higher rates observed among certain groups. Just imagine, for a second, how much higher these numbers are today in 2025 πŸ€”

If you are a military service member or veteran in need of food, please contact us at 484-265-1262.

Here are some resources that were put together by our Moravian University Nursing Student Interns for EVERYONE who may be facing food challenges right now.

Let's join forces to continue in the fight against food insecurities in our communities πŸ‘ŠπŸΌ
