Feeling stuffy during your massage? You’re not alone! I get asked this question a lot! 🤔 But no need to worry! It’s a common experience when you’re laying face down, and here’s why:

1. Sinus Compression: When you’re in that position, the weight can compress your sinuses, making you feel a bit blocked.
2. Increased Circulation: The massage stimulates blood flow, which can sometimes lead to a temporary feeling of fullness in your head.
3. Gravity at Play: Gravity can also play a role, especially if you’ve had a long day or are already a bit congested.

Hello, everyone! For those who may not know me, I’m Brooke Stackhouse, and I am excited to introduce myself as the heart and hands behind my very own massage therapy practice! Over the past four years, from 2019 until June 2024, I had the privilege of working closely with chiropractic doctors, refining my skills to cater to a wide range of massage needs—whether it involves addressing chronic issues, providing relief for acute pain, or simply offering a space for deep relaxation.

Throughout my journey, I have witnessed countless heartwarming stories of individuals finding comfort and healing through massage therapy. The joy of seeing my clients leave my practice feeling better than when they arrived is truly priceless. When I am not in the treatment room, you will likely find me out in nature, hiking and soaking up the beauty of the outdoors. Cooking or baking up a storm in the kitchen, going for a run, spending time in the gym, reading, or simply enjoying a good beach vacation.

Family time, quality moments with my husband, and the warmth of going to church hold a special place in my heart. Here’s a fun tidbit about me. I am Equine massage certified and have dreams of incorporating this skill into my practice in the future! I can’t wait to share more content with you all soon.
