PLEASE HELP US CONGRATULATE OUR EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH, JACI BRUMMETT!!

NAME OF NOMINEE: Jaci Brummett
DEPARTMENT: Senior Living

ATTITUDE/CHARACTER:
Jaci is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. Every day she shows up to work with a smile and positive attitude and always exhibits kindness and compassion towards each and every resident. She elicits the best in her co-workers as well as each resident and even on hard days or despite difficult situations, she inspires positivity and displays empathy.
One of her co-workers described her as a ROCK STAR and that she never has to be asked to do things. She is awesome with the residents and very kind to them when they are not feeling well or having a hard day. She never complains and is so great to work with. She just “gets it done!”

CONCERN FOR OTHERS/COMPASSION/SERVANT HEART:
Jaci has a servant heart through and through and it is evident that she doesn’t see this as a “job”, but more of a mission to love and serve others and does so with respect, dignity, and compassion. She displays an unselfish concern for others and her optimism, brightness, and sweet demeanor is evident in every interaction.

EXHIBITS INITIATIVE/ENTHUSIASM BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY:
Jaci is a self-starter and takes initiative; she is able to anticipate needs and seeks out opportunities to help. She ensures all tasks and care needs are completed and is consistently thorough and attentive.
Jaci is a leader and mentor to her co-workers! She leads by example and is gentle in her approach while successfully mentoring and directing other staff members.
Jaci is a person we all aspire to be like and an employee that others should seek to imitate. She carries out The Heritage Home mission in her daily duties and interactions and we are all blessed by her presence!

We are so excited to help make this possible in Wabaunsee County! Please help support our efforts by donating!

In 2024, the Wabaunsee County Economic Development Fund was established through the Kansas Rural Communities Foundation to strengthen long-term community growth. The fund’s goals include supporting the creation of a local health clinic, improving the beauty and viability of our towns, and revitalizing blighted areas. Currently, Wabaunsee County does not have a primary care physician or healthcare facility, making this effort an important step toward a healthier and more vibrant future for our residents.
A partnership between Wamego Health Center, The Heritage Home Intergenerational Center, and Wabaunsee County is now moving closer to opening the Wamego Health Center–Alma Clinic in the fourth wing of The Heritage Home in Alma.
The Kansas Rural Communities Foundation will hold its 2025 Match Event from November 1–15. Donations to the Wabaunsee County Economic Development Fund will help make this clinic a reality, with plans to open in 2026.

Our Heritage Home Halloween did not disappoint! The Seniors were educated on emojis 🤔😍🤬💩🤣, our kids were well supplied with candy 🍭 and all of us at The Heritage Home were filled with all the joy and cuteness we could handle. So much FUN! 🎃👻
