All the generations participated in yesterday's state wide tornado drill! The older generation was sure happy they didn't have to get on the ground and cover their heads like the younger generation! Although she has been with The Heritage Home for just 10 months, she has already made a lasting impact on our residents and team. Laney is calm, organized, hardworking, flexible, even-tempered, and incredibly patient. She approaches each shift with a steady presence that brings comfort not only to our residents but to her coworkers as well.

Laney has built strong bonds with our residents through love, trust, and consistent, compassionate care. She truly has a servant’s heart, and it shows in everything she does. She is a team player who is always willing to help wherever needed, stepping in without hesitation to support others.

Laney represents our team with dedication and professionalism. We are fortunate to have her as part of The Heritage Home family, and she is more than deserving of this recognition. The residents she cares for don't always call her by her name. Some refer to her as red, bronco, or hey you.

Laney joined our team as an as needed CNA, she then furthered her education and joined us as a full time CMA.

Ms. Brittany Hendryx is an incredibly positive and caring person. She is kind
and patient and has been impactful from day one.

2) CONCERN FOR OTHERS/COMPASSION/SERVANT HEART:
Ms. Brittany is a great role model in her actions as a teacher and her
interactions throughout the building. She works to create and learn through
her lessons and combined activities with the residents. She teaches the kids
to be thankful for the helpful people in our building and community and to
take pride in their talents and gifts.

3) YEARS OF SERVICE/DEDICATION:
Ms. Brittany started with us last summer part time and took over the lead
preschool teaching position in the Pre-K room in August. She has been
dedicated to learning and growing and putting in her best. She has
continued to connect with kids, to celebrate them, and to find ways to
challenge them.

4) ENHANCES WORKPLACE AND LIVES OF OTHERS:
Ms. Brittany is very creative and detailed in her lesson plans. She looks at
opportunities with purpose and is a complete team player. Brittany helps
and steps up when changes or needs come up, as no day is ever the same ;)
On challenging days, Brittany looks for ways to stay positive and to find the
good.
5) EXHIBITS INITIATIVE/ENTHUSIASM BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY:
Ms. Brittany is very consistent....she consistently has fun ideas and themes
for the preschool classrooms. Her lesson plans and how they are adapted to
the skill level of each preschool room is so cool, watching the learning
happening with each individual child. She consistently shows up: for her
classroom and kids, for our residents, for her coworkers. Switching days off,
opening four days a week, combining rooms, Brittany is there. Ms. Brittany’s
smile and faith are the most consistent of all, finding the good in each day
and thanking God for it.
We are so blessed Ms. Brittany joined our Heritage Home Family and we are
incredibly thankful for her!!
