Rest doesn’t have to mean stopping.
If you’re nursing an injury, "active rest" is your best friend. While it’s tempting to plop on the couch, our bodies are built to move. Total stillness can actually lead to more stiffness and pain when you finally stand up.
The Golden Rule: Do as much as you can while causing as little pain as possible. Keep the blood flowing, keep the joints moving, and heal faster.
