💚 AHA Family — Let’s Rally for the Franciscos! 🤍

Join us for a Spaghetti Dinner Benefit supporting one of our own hockey families.

🍝 Monday, December 8 | 4:30–7:30 PM
📍 Northern Lights Arena
💵 $5 per plate

There will also be a 50/50 raffle, donation bucket, and raffle baskets — all proceeds go to help the Francisco family.

One of our local families needs our support! After a recent hockey injury, they’re facing unexpected medical bills right in the middle of the holiday season. Let’s come together to help lift them up and show what community is all about.

Do you have old youth hockey sticks lying around that your skater has outgrown? Our Learn to Skate program would LOVE to give them a second life!

If you’re willing to donate, you can:
✔️ Give them to any AHA board member
✔️ Hand them to a Learn to Skate coach
✔️ Or have them placed in the AHA storage room at the rink

Your generosity helps the next generation of AHA skaters get started with confidence and excitement. 💚🤍

💚🏒 Hockey Mom Wisdom! 🏒🤍

Hey new hockey moms — welcome to the club! Every year AHA welcomes 30-40 new families into our Learn to Skate program. 💪 You’re officially part of one of the loudest, proudest, coffee-fueled families out there. Our veteran hockey moms have a few tips and tricks to make your season a little smoother ⬇️

🥶 1. The rink is always colder than you think.
Blankets, gloves, and extra socks are your best friends. (And yes, even in October!)

☕ 2. Invest in a good travel mug.
You’ll be at the rink early… often… and probably in a different town every weekend.

🎒 3. Keep a “hockey mom survival bag.”
Snacks, tape, extra laces, scissors, bandaids, Sharpies — if it fits, it ships.

🚗 4. Learn the art of car naps and drive-thru dinners.
Because you’ll master both before the season’s over.

📸 5. Take the photos.
Even the blurry ones. These seasons fly by faster than a breakaway goal.

🎉 6. Celebrate everything.
Wins, goals, assists — but especially teamwork, effort, and sportsmanship.

💬 7. Find your crew.
Your hockey family becomes your second family — cheer together, laugh together, and sometimes cry together. 💚

Our AHA Sq**rt House team hit the ice Sunday for a pair of exciting matchups against Cadillac — and they didn’t disappoint!

They skated away with an impressive 7–1 win and battled hard to a 4–4 tie. 💪🔥

Great teamwork, hustle, and AHA pride from start to finish — way to go, Sq**rt House! 🙌 Let’s keep that momentum rolling!
