Next time you start cleaning your house 🏠, 1️⃣Make a cleaning plan. 2️⃣ Crank some great music. 3️⃣ Set your watch/workout tracker to “other”. 4️⃣Challenge yourself to clean for an hour without stopping- and dancing in between! You can burn a lot of calories, have fun, AND check the cleaning 🧹 tasks off the to-do list. ✅ Win-Win-Win! Any movement is movement! 👏

“I can’t have bread 🍞 , too many carbs, it’s bad for you.” “Just cut all carbs, you’ll lose weight”.
——LIES!—— There is no such thing as a “bad food”. 🙂‍↔️ There are foods that are higher in carbs, or calories, or sugar, or fat…. But they aren’t “bad”. Everything in moderation! If you want to truly enjoy food you eat, not feel deprived, and have a food filled life that you love- while being the healthiest version of yourself, it IS POSSIBLE! 🙌 I promise it is. Elimination diets are NOT necessary. Shots 💉aren’t generally necessary. Shame and deprivation and counting calories aren’t necessary! 🙂‍↔️ I’m here to help. Fruit is natures fast food! 🤩 It provides natural sugar, and requires zero prep. Last night in game 3 of the World Series ⚾️, tied at 5-5 in the 1️⃣6️⃣th inning- they started serving the athletes FRUIT! 🍉 🍍 Why? To help them get a NATURAL boost of sugar to power through this insane game! 💪 It went 18 innings. SIX HOURS and 39 minutes!! (I love baseball facts). These are amongst the most elite baseball ⚾️ players in the world, eating from a fruit tray like children, in order to play such a huge game. 🙌 Proof that when YOU need a boost to get through your day, especially if it feels 18 innings long- reach for fruit, not the energy drinks!

Pockets are awesome, right? 🤩The more pockets on a bag, the better. 👏 Bought a dress 👗 , then realize that it has POCKETS?!? 🙌 AMAZING! Pockets of TIME are also AMAZING! 3 x 10=30. 6 x 5 =30. 30 x 1 =30. You don’t need to exercise all at one time! Find POCKETS of time in your day to move your body. 😍However it fits your schedule. Here is an example of how I fit exercise in on Friday between clients, working 2 of my 4 jobs, running kids, and going to a friend’s house for dinner. I did a stretch (yes I speak German so I love German workouts lol) on my peloton app. Did some computer work, then did a standing core workout. Met a client. Then later walked my dog 🐕. More IDEAS on how to do this:
1️⃣You could lift small weights 2, 3, 5 pounds while you watch tv. Set a timer and go.
2️⃣ Walk for 10 minutes on your lunch break
3️⃣ Stretch in the morning after your first cup of coffee.
4️⃣ Walk with a friend after work or doing your kids sports practices.
5️⃣ do a quick 10 min chair yoga or FREE youtube yoga workout right when you get home after work.
Make it as EASY as possible to fit movement into YOUR schedule. You don’t have to spend a bunch of money, do it at a certain time, or with anyone. Move for you! ❤️

Alpena area people! 🚶‍♀️ The walking track at Northern Lights Arena (the hockey 🏒 rink) is back open! 👏 I love to walk the track on rainy or cold days, or in between errands. I was the only one there at 12pm today!! Grab a friend, or your headphones 🎧 and walk on your lunch hour, after work, or while kids are at sports. We are lucky to have this spot to walk. Wear a coat, and light gloves, it’s an ice rink 😉. The walking track is flat, not slippery, and easy to walk or run on! Our bodies are made to move. You don’t need to sweat, spend a bunch of cash, do a program, or commit to a time slot. Just move, when you can, how you can! ❤️

High fiber, low calorie, and SUPER delicious soup! 🥣 Copycat Olive Garden Pasta e Fagole. 🤤 I made this tonight and traded the beef out for lamb 🐑, and doubled the carrots🥕. I had venison 🦌 medallions on the side, as well as a piece of home made bread. FULL of veggies, fiber, and protein! 🙌 It’s SO FREAKING GOOD! https://pin.it/1QdptOez1
