I am Angie Appelgate, Therapist & Daring Way™ Trained Facilitator. I provide mental health therapy services & run Daring Way™ workshops.

Know your worth so you can live and love courageously, compassionately, and bravely. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I provide a caring and supportive relationship to clients to help them grow and change in positive ways. I enjoy working with families to create more productive and supportive family dynamics. I love working with clients to help empower them to process and heal from adverse and traumatic life experiences, change unhealthy thought patterns and behaviors, and explore and overcome shame messages that are keeping them from living a wholehearted life as well as foster hope and move towards more authentic living. I strive to create a welcoming, safe, and non-judgmental space for clients to explore concerns and experience true healing and growth. I would love to come alongside you and meet you where you are at as you begin this journey!

This has been such a wonderful experience for me this fall as I've been allowed to do deeper work within my own system while also learning how to be more present and hold space for my clients and their internal systems. I am forever grateful for getting to participate in this work 💜

"I won't let my insecurities define who I am"

I stopped at Caribou this morning on my way into work to enjoy my free birthday drink for the week and left with a little bit of inspiration from a tattoo [quote above] one of the baristas had on her arm.

Often we think being healthy and whole = I will have no insecurities.

What we don't realize is our whole selves is made up of various parts, emotions, thoughts and beliefs which includes insecurities (and uncomfortable emotions).

Being healthy and whole = not letting those insecurities rule or define us.
