When it comes to questions about the Hope Center — we’ve got you covered 😎

One of the most common questions we hear is: Who leads Hope Center?

Hope Center is run by a dedicated team of staff members and volunteers who handle the day-to-day operations. Our team is led by Amanda Anderson, the Executive Director, who oversees all programs and activities.

In addition to our staff, we are guided by a Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is made up of community members from local businesses, churches, and various professions. Together, they help shape our direction through key decisions, insight, and ongoing support.

We’re so grateful for First Baptist Church Americus, St. John's Anglican Church, and Pleasant Hill Baptist Church for collecting diapers to help meet real needs in our community.

A special thank you to First Baptist for once again allowing us to use their parking lot — your continued support makes events like this possible!

We’re excited to share that Pathways Biblical Counseling will be joining the Hope Center family. As Pathways transitions from an independent ministry by merging with Hope Center, its counseling services—and the heart behind them—will continue as part of our Hope Center team.

This transition allows us to offer not only biblical counseling but also a broader range of care, support, and resources for individuals and families in our community. We’re honored to carry forward the mission and legacy of Pathways.

It is our pleasure to formally introduce Matt Almeida as the newest addition to the Hope Center Staff! Matt will lead our Fatherhood Program, help oversee our counseling services, support our medical team, and assist clients in accessing case management resources.
