Red Clover Herbal Apothecary Farm will be at the SCVFoodAlliance
Winter Farmers Market this coming Sunday Feb, 22nd, from noon-3pm.
We'll have our 'Cool, Calm & Collected Plant Extract there.
It's a combination of Hawthorne Berries, Rose Petals, Lemon Balm and Milky Oat Seed.
The stress and anxiety of the times we are living in leave many of us feeling deeply saddened, fragmented, agitated and anxious in our bodies, hearts and minds. The gentle nervines in this extract soothe and calm the nervous system and support lifting the spirits out of deep grief.
The market is located in Abrahamson Nurseries at 1257 WI-35, St Croix Falls, WI 54024.

We'll be the at the SCVFoodAlliance winter market tomorrow held at Abrhamson Nurseries in St. Croix Falls from noon-3pm. We have a great selection of gift boxes from our herbal apothecary as well as all our regulars, plus new this week, Ashwagandha Root Powder, Solomons's Seal Spray Mist and greeting cards from scenes on the farm.

Just harvested Echinacea and Yarrow flowers. If you keep picking Echinacea flowers, they'll keep coming all summer long. We do not harvest the root of Echinacea until it's at least 3 years old. It's medicine is then strongly concentrated in the root. You can tell by placing a small peice on your tongue and chewing. You'll feel a buzzing, tingly sensation on your tongue due to Echinacea's active medicinal compounds. Many folks don't know that the flowers also contain these active compunds. Though not as strong as the root, they are still medicinal. Both flower and root help stimulate the immune system by activating the production of white blood cells to fight infection.
We will be using the Echinacea flowers in our Immune Boosting Herbal Tea and Yarrow in our healing salves.

Just two more days until the Apple River Farm Tour. Our Apothecary will be open and stocked with herbal extracts, herbal oils and salves, herbal teas, our seasonal Elderflower Cordial and so much more. I'll be leading herbal plant walks through our gardens and talking about their medicinal properties at 11am, 1 & 3 pm. Red Clover Herbal Apothecary Farm is within 2 miles of 3 other farms on the farm tour. Follow the green trail!
