Heal Hearts is our small yet deeply committed effort to give back to those who have given so much to us. Mercy Medical Center (Des Moines), our familiar safe-haven that protected our daughter through three open heart surgeries and numerous other procedures. To foundations, particularly the Children's Heart Foundation, that generate innovative research and technology to save lives. And other parent-driven movements that lobby for change in the heartworld.
