One day - so much difference made in our community!

Fall 2025 Day of Service: food market at Food At First, stuffing envelopes with newsletters and annual appeals for Center for Creative Justice, sorting clothing for Overflow, fixing the fence and installing bag holders for ISU Vet Outreach, setting up pumpkins for Reiman Gardens, and finally making cat toys for ISU Vet Outreach! It was an amazing day of serving Ames organizations 🤍

Thank you everyone who joined us yesterday, you are all amazing! 🤩

✨ Fall 2025 Mini Pay It Forward Tour ✨

This Saturday, we served the Heart Ministry Center in Omaha by helping them with their drive-through food bank. It was an amazing experience to meet the people we were serving and to feel the energy of all volunteers of the center!

After working hard, our group visited the Omaha Zoo, where we made so many great memories together!

This trip was a huge success due to our amazing volunteers that came along! Thank you all and we will see you soon! 💙

Cost: $30 (transport, food, housing, tourism included!)

Volunteer for a non-profit in Omaha in the morning, explore the city in the afternoon, and make friends in the evening!

Pay It Forward is heading out on a Fall Mini Trip — and you’re invited!

📍 Where? Omaha, Nebraska

📅 When? October 4–5 (leave Ames early Saturday morning, return Sunday morning)

✨ What?

Morning: Volunteer with a local nonprofit

Afternoon: Explore Omaha

Evening: Leadership activities, reflection, and time to connect

Sunday: Breakfast together, then head back to Ames

💲 Cost: $20–30 covers travel, meals, housing, and activities. Just bring your energy (and a little extra if you love souvenirs)!

🛏 What to bring: Everything you’d need for one day and night. A pillow and sleeping bag are helpful since group housing is generously provided by a local church.

👥 Safety: For the weekend, we’ll stay together as a group at all times. All activities are pre-planned by our Bus Core, so you can focus on service, connection, and fun.
