Instead of extreme detoxes or all-or-nothing routines, focus on gentle regulation:
• Hydrate deeply → supports detox pathways & tissue health
• Move daily (lightly) → walking, stretching, mobility
• Open the body → chest, hips, neck (where stress sits)
• Stimulate circulation → massage, dry brushing, breathwork
• Get sunlight early → anchors your nervous system

Just like we clean our homes, the body benefits from support clearing out stagnation.

A few ways to help your body detox naturally:

• Drink more water

• Eat fresh seasonal foods

• Move daily to stimulate lymph flow

• Prioritize sleep

• And support circulation with massage therapy

Massage doesn’t “detox” your body on its own — but it improves circulation, lymphatic flow, and nervous system regulation, which helps your body do what it’s designed to do. #

You don’t need a spa day. You need consistency in your wellness routine.
One massage every 6 months won’t undo

• months of desk posture
• stress stored in your shoulders
• tension built into your nervous system.

Your body changes when you give it consistent support, not occasional relief.

Think maintenance, not emergency repair.

Your nervous system responds to kindness.
Not control. Not pressure. Not productivity.

Just safety.

And five minutes is enough to begin.

Massage doesn't detox your body, that's your liver and kidneys' job. It does boost circulation, ease tension, and reboot your nervous system.

Chronic tension doesn’t happen overnight.
It builds slowly through stress, posture, repetitive movement, and nervous system overload.

By the time most people book a session, the body has been compensating for weeks or months.

Targeted bodywork helps:
• release chronic muscle tension
• regulate the nervous system
• restore natural movement

Your body shouldn’t have to reach the pain stage before it gets care.

If you’ve been thinking about booking for a while, consider this your sign.

Now booking sessions.

Before spas and wellness clinics, there were curanderas, sobadoras, and parteras — women who carried the wisdom of healing through their hands.
Today I honor the lineage of healers like María Sabina and Teresa Urrea, and the countless unnamed women who practiced bodywork, herbal medicine, and intuitive care for their communities.

Historic & Cultural Mexican Healers

🌿 María Sabina (1894–1985)
A Mazatec healer and shaman from Oaxaca known for sacred healing ceremonies using mushrooms. She shared indigenous spiritual medicine with the world and is one of the most recognized traditional healers from Mexico.

🌿 Teresa Urrea (1873–1906)
Also called La Santa de Cabora. She was believed to perform miraculous healings and became a spiritual leader and symbol of resistance for indigenous and rural communities.

🌿 Pachita (1900–1979)
A famous curandera in Mexico City known for “psychic surgery” healing sessions. Many doctors and researchers visited her to witness her work.

🌿 Enriqueta Contreras
A respected Rarámuri traditional healer who preserved indigenous plant medicine traditions and spiritual healing practices.
