Did you know that Mr. (or Mrs.) Potato Head is more than just a classic toy? It’s a fantastic tool to help toddlers understand and follow directions—especially when it comes to learning body parts!

✨ Try This at Home:
Say, “Put the nose on!” or “Where’s Potato Head’s ear?”
Pause and give your child time to respond. You can help by pointing or showing them if they need a little support at first. Over time, they’ll start understanding and responding on their own!

This garbage truck is a fun way to practice speech sounds! Kiddos get to practice their word, put it in the trashcan, then dump it into the garbage truck! Today, we practiced functional consonant+vowel / vowel+consonant words, such as: go, no, bye, in, out, up, etc.

The critter clinic is a wonderful way to practice using functional words or signs, such as “help” and “open.” It can also be used to help children to learn basic concepts, such as colors. Our critter clinic has multiple toys inside to target regular plurals, such as dogs, frogs and ducks!
