Erika’s Jewels simply started with my passion for art and creating things. Making jewelry has always been a hobby for me, ever since I was young. I started making jewelry for myself, then for my family, then I brought it to work one day and my coworkers loved my line! My family and friends encouraged me to sell my line online or at stores. Ever since then I have been selling on etsy, in craft fairs, boutique stores, farmers markets, and anime conventions! I have been selling my pieces all around the world: New Jersey, Arizona, Texas, South Carolina, Indiana, Georgia, Massachusetts, Ohio, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, Oklahoma, New York, Florida, Illinois, Germany, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Michigan, Hawaii, California, and Hungary!
♥ Personal Bio:
Hello! My name is Erika :) I graduated from West Coast University in California as a Registered Nurse. I also have a second degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. My ultimate career goal is to get my masters as a Nurse Practitioner! I love science, as much as I love art. And when I have the free time I love to work on my jewelry, drawings, paintings, and much more. I am a natural born artist at heart. I started making jewelry a few years ago, and stopped for a while because my life got too busy. But when my mom got sick I had to drop out of school for one quarter from college. With free time on my hands and worrying about my mom (she had a massive stroke in her midbrain) I started making my jewelry again...
Making jewelry has always been a great passion for me. It was therapeutic and helped me throughout the stress in my life. Through the ups and down of my life I always found the time to sit down and make a piece from anything that inspired me. You will find that all of my pieces tell a story, created from an inspiration from the world around me. Making my jewelry is like creating a piece of beautiful painting, sculpture, and drawing. It is creating a piece of artwork from a blank naked canvas, and seeing your work transform beautifully in front of your very own eyes. Just like any piece of artwork, every piece in my store tells a story...
