Especially when I don’t have the exact beads I need… because let’s be honest — that’s my perfect excuse to take a trip to my favorite bead store.

You know the kind of place… where every strand is more beautiful than the last, the colors are endless, and suddenly you’ve been there way longer than planned 😅

Fair warning: you must go in with a game plan… or you will leave with way more than you intended. (Speaking from experience 👀)

After the guide introductions… we gently moved inward.

The space shifted as we entered our opening meditation — a collective exhale, a soft arrival into the present moment.

From there, we journeyed deeper…guided through a Shamanic Journey, where each person was invited to explore, receive, and connect in their own way. A space beyond words… where insight, symbolism, and energy could unfold freely.

And then… we returned to the body.

There are moments in life when paths cross for a reason—and this is one of them ✨

In celebration of World Book Day, I’m beyond excited to share Galactic Awakening, a book written by John Nap. I first met John a few years ago at a Reiki retreat in Virginia, and since then I’ve had the honor of receiving a Galactic Akashic Records reading from him and participating in a Galactic course he co-hosted with Kristen Wood.

This book is even more special because it holds pieces of people I deeply admire. Kristen—who is a dear friend of mine—has woven a very personal part of her life’s work into these pages. And Ellie, whose presence has been so inspiring on my own path, is also part of this beautiful creation.

This isn’t just a book—it’s a collaboration of souls, experiences, and higher wisdom. I fully support and celebrate all three of these incredible humans and the energy they’ve poured into this work.

Introducing Thoughtful Thursday 🌧️✨

“Rain, rain, go away… come again another day.”

It sounds like a simple childhood rhyme—but its roots may run much deeper.

Versions of this rhyme date back to 17th-century England, where constant rain could ruin crops, markets, and daily life.

Speaking it aloud wasn’t just playful… it was intentional. A spoken wish. A pattern of words repeated with feeling.

In many ways, this mirrors what we now recognize as folk magic or spell work:

☔️Rhythm
🌦️Intention
☔️Spoken energy

When you say something over and over with emotion, you’re imprinting it into your field.

Before the first conversation… before the first breath together… there was intention.

These are photos of the space as it came to life.

An altar forming — honoring the elements, honoring Kali, honoring transformation, release, and rebirth. Each piece placed with care, each layer holding meaning.

A welcome table created for exploration and connection…where intuition could guide you to an affirmation, where the energy of the retreat could be felt through tarot and oracle, where journals and affirmation pens waited to hold your thoughts, and small comforts like dark chocolate and snacks invited you to soften and receive.

The fire-orange roses were chosen with purpose — a reflection of the New Moon in Aries energy… bold, initiating, alive. Softened by baby’s breath — a reminder of gentleness within transformation.

Every detail, every corner… an invitation.

To arrive.
To open.
To begin.

🌎 Earth Day 🤍

Today feels like a quiet thank you.

For the mountains that remind me to stand strong and rooted…for the oceans that teach me to flow, release, and trust…for the wild animals who move with instinct, presence, and truth…and for every path, trail, and place in between that has held me exactly as I was.

These moments—captured in wanderings and travels—are more than memories. They are reminders.

That we belong to this Earth. That we are part of her rhythm, not separate from it. That grounding, healing, and connection are always available when we choose to return.

Today, I honor the Earth not just in gratitude…but in presence. In slowing down. In listening.

May we walk gently, live intentionally, and remember the sacredness in all that surrounds us.

I woke up this morning from a dream where the number 124 kept being sent to me… over and over again.

It showed up as a time — 1:24 AM.
On a clock. In a text. Even as a phone call.
No matter how it appeared, it was always the same.

Then my alarm went off… and of course, immediate cat snuggles took priority 😻
So I couldn’t grab my phone right away.

Instead, I just kept repeating “124… 124… 124…” in my head so I wouldn’t forget.

When I finally looked into it, the symbolism felt… grounding.

1 → new beginnings
2 → balance & intuition
4 → stability & foundation

Together, it felt like a message:
you’re being supported in building something new… slowly, intentionally, and in alignment.

Not rushed.
Not chaotic.
Just… steady.

There is a quiet kind of magic that lingers after a retreat—the kind that doesn’t rush to be spoken, only felt.

At our offering table, we gathered devotion in many forms. Honoring the elements. Honoring Goddess Kali. Honoring the turning of the year, the dark sky of the New Moon, and the deeply personal ways each soul chose to connect. Nothing was prescribed. Everything was offered from within.

What made it especially powerful was the shared reverence in how each item was placed and received. Not as objects, but as living intentions.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to a local Alaska candle maker whose crystal, essential oil, and Reiki-infused candle graced the altar. The scent alone carried something ancient and soothing—so much so that it became an act of devotion itself to simply witness it there, to inhale its beauty, and allow it to remain in sacred stillness.

Thank you to every offering, seen and unseen, spoken and unspoken. You helped create a space where energy could be felt, not explained.

May we all continue to honor in this way—gently, intuitively, and with presence.
