🫶 As a community we have been through a lot together. With the winter months rolling in, holidays and rising cost, we are ever grateful to all of the amazing people around Alaska that have come together to help their fellow Alaskans. Here at Anchorage Animal Care & Control we have a Pet Food Bank for anyone who needs it. Built by the donations from our community for the beloved pets we hold dear.

🐾If you are in need of pet food, please visit our shelter off of Elmore and Tudor. We are open 7 days a week: Monday through Friday from 12PM to 7PM, and Saturday/Sunday from 11AM to 5PM. When you arrive, please visit customer service, tell them how many pets you personally have, if they have any allergies, and what size they are (we want to make sure they have the appropriate sized food for swallow safety). We are here to help, we understand, we've been there.

💞 If you are in a position where you can donate to the food bank we are in need of cat food. Dog food goes fast due to their size, but cat food is the most requested food for our Pet Food Bank. All donated food can be dropped off in the lobby, for larger loads we would be happy to grab a cart to help you get it inside. For pallets of food please meet us at the garage so that we can make sure it is brought in safely. Again, thank you to everyone though out the year, who have assisted us with keeping our Pet Food Bank going strong. Your kind hearts will always be appreciated here. 💚💙
