Let's practice the Bird Dog Row with Michelle Lawrence, PT, DPT. This move is a great way to build strength without overloading your spine.

It also activates your deep core muscles, strengthens upper back & shoulders, improves spinal stability, and teaches control during movement.

• Start on hands and knees
• Keep spine neutral
• Row slowly while staying stable
• No twisting or sagging

Remember to start light and focus on control, not speed.

This one's for fat bikers! Winter riding hits your hips, back, and knees harder than you think. If you want to stay strong and pain-free the rest of the season, these 3 exercises should be in your routine:

- Lateral Banded Walks
Perform 4-6 laps for about 25 feet

- Bulgarian Split Squats
Perform 3 sets of 8-12 each leg

- Pallof Press
Perform 2 sets of 15 each direction

If knee, hip, or low back pain is cutting your rides short, that’s not just part of winter riding. Call or go online to schedule an evaluation with us today at bit.ly/4qZjbcW

Exploring the Relationship Between BPPV and Vitamin D

Benign Paroxysimal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) is one of the most common causes of vertigo. Vertigo is a condition of the vestibular system which is responsible for telling your brain where your head is in space and how it’s moving.

Research shows having enough vitamin D keeps the systems of the inner ear functional and less likely to have a recurrence of BPPV.

If you are experiencing vertigo and seeking care in resolving troubling issues of dizziness call today.
