How does stress impact my gut?

Chronic stress can disrupt the balance of gut bacteria which is the cause of gut dysbiosis.

Without stress management and proper nutrition your body will be in fight or flight mode. You will have inflammation, digestive issues & IBS.

Manage your stress by mindful breathing, tell yourself you are safe and healthy. Exercise regularly, whether that is at the gym or taking your pet on a walk. Learn to understand your body, stress & gut health. Don’t forget all your fruits, veggies & grains ❤️

So many people think if they eat fiber one bars or cereal they should be good on their fiber intake.
If you’re not getting enough colorful fruits and veggies in your body you are losing out on nutrients and bowel movements. .

During my gut & skin journey, I learned to give your skin some grace. What do I mean by that?

Get rid of the harsh cleansers, toner, retinol, moisturizers.
Start off fresh with medical grade skincare.
I had great luck with some harsher ingredients in Louisiana, as soon as I moved back to Iowa, less humidity and more stress. 😅

Not only is your gut connected to how your skin reacts, your skin is also sensitive.
If you’re constantly scrubbing, apply toners to fight acne & wrinkles, you’re going to continue to break out.

You’re ruining your skin barrier by resurfacing your face over and over.

For those who do not know, I started a gut health certification course back in September. I have already completed & passed my 12 week course. I have a few more weeks until my final exam.

I cannot wait to share what all I have learned.

My goal is to coach women, men & eventually children into a healthier more sustainable lifestyle. Not only on nutrition & weight loss but Gut & hormone health.

I’m here to get to the root causes of your constant bloat, stress, bowel movements, skin issues and more.

As you know, I started something similar in 2019 and it has changed my life. I really started to take it more seriously pregnant with my second child.
