American Legion Post #30 - Shelby 49455 Veterans strengthening veterans. The American Legion’s success depends entirely on active members

Open First Monday Every Month 6pm Dinner - 7pm Meeting
We are open to serve all veterans honorably discharged. We are there not only for the veterans but for the veterans families as well. We are available to assist in military funerals and to help veterans with any other veteran type needs, DD-214 Forms and any other service related issue.

To all of my Fellow Veterans. The Muskegon VA clinic is having an open Town Hall Meeting, this Wednesday, between 1-2. It is about reducing/ changing how they do things. This meeting is open to the public. I am willing to pick up folks who want to come down. We need to voice our concerns

I know this is a might out of our area. Yet I feel l have to mention it. Today I learned that there’s a “Female Costie”, living in the Seminole Shores Living Center, in Norton Shores. Not sure how young she is, yet positive that she could enjoy seeing another “Costie’.

Hey folks we’ve all heard about some families going hungry, due to this political situation. And even when the government is officially open, there’s problems.

I was up at Jodi’s office yesterday and found a great flyer/handout, about where folks can get some relief from this very stressful situation. The locations, start right there in her office and go beyond there. The flyer was written by the Oceana Community Foundation. It’s official call Oceana County Food Access. So if any of you need help or know others who do, l would check this out.

No one should ever go to sleep Hungry.

Don’t forget folks, in less than 2 hours, 2 of our very own Members will be doing the 5 K, there at Getty Park in Shelby. The members could use some “Cheering On”. Don’t expect them winning the race. Praying for them to just Finish, without having the EMT’s being involved. They are promoting our Country and our Legion

American Legion Post 30, all of you today and tonight made me proud to be a member of the post. Organizing the work team to get the necessary items from the Legion to the Pizza Factory, went without an issue.

The entire Fundraising Event, went smoothly from start to finish . Ticket Sales, spinning the wheel, getting the paddles and prizes handed. Just an Amazing Job.

The entire staff of the Pizza Factory, was just as good.

The amount of folks who showed up. Oceana County you did great. We kept hearing positive comments, during the entire process. Folks even donated more $, as they were leaving. Amazing .

Besides the Football Team, winning big, our event will be the talk of the town.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible.
