Ladies, you can still play your part in our beloved organization. The Marine Corps is still changing lives even through these rough times for many people. You don’t have to be affected by this epidemic! No need to struggle if you are, no need to worry about job security, steady pay, benefits and a place to live for free. Sometimes it’s not all about the benefits that makes the Marine Corps stand out to women. Here’s what a few Marines had to say:
🦅. 🌎. ⚓️.
Pride - Women in the Marine Corps are still considered to be the “fewer and proud”. We still have the smallest number of women in any service by percentage. There is an intense feeling of accomplishment that comes with being able to keep up with and even lead others.
Experience - Military service allows you to learn skills and to experience places and things you otherwise may have not. That experience, coupled with veterans’ preference for many follow-on occupations, is priceless.
Challenge - Initially, you will be put to the test mentally and physically, perhaps like never before. The challenge grows with each promotion and the weight of responsibility that accompanies it. As you learn, grow, and climb the ranks, the challenges change but they are ever-present.
It’s quite alright to be different from the rest. Don’t be a sheep- but instead a sheepdog....leading from the front for others to emulate. If you are willing to take the challenge, reach out to me via social media or the info in my bio.
