Sigh. I think this is why I am tired of creating deck videos in Tarot Tube. Do we really need another video about what decks we DON'T like? I think many creators are compassionate and educated enough to honestly critique decks - at least the folks I follow.

Maybe people feel pressured to get certain popular decks because of certain YouTubers or Facebook groups. For me, it was never like that. I listened to my intuition on what decks would speak most to me in readings - which may be a popular or unknown deck. And, if someone rags on Chris Anne's Light Seers Tarot deck (or any of the works she creates) one more time, I am going to explode. Tastes in artwork are highly subjective, and that is the joy of collecting decks.

Our collections are uniquely ours, and we do not need permission to love the varied art styles found in decks. Every so often, a YouTuber pops up with this type of video, thinking they are teaching or illuminating some wisdom that many of us already inherently know at this point in history. I know my brand of reading style is not for everyone, and that not all the decks I get are ones people gravitate towards, and guess what - that is alright!

I know exactly how Ethony feels. Please watch this and also support all of her incredible offerings. When I first came to Tarot Tube, Ethony was one of those early Tarot teachers for me to learn about the cards. I've taken some of her courses, and I have watched her videos for years. With the rise of AI and the expectation of us to offer our gifts and services for free, many of us are feeling the squeeze, and it is depressing. I plan to get her Tarot by the Moon 2026 guide (which is a steal at $9.99), and to continue to share her videos and I hope you check it out, too! Two and a half years ago, I recorded two readings for Maritime Mysteries, surrounding the mysterious death of Natalie Wood.

On the anniversary of her death, her on-again husband, Robert Wagner, decided to share that she is "forever missed." I was always struck by how afraid of the water she was, and the details of what happened in her drowning death are as murky as the ocean in the night.
