I realize that we have many businesses in Minnesota that will be closed tomorrow to make a statement to ICE and the government about how we stand together through adversity and against the unlawful attacks made by federal officers in our state.

I am 100% standing with those that believe in peaceful protesting, the hard-working immigrants of this country and to the federal officers that are doing their jobs within due process and NOT to the ones that are stepping outside those bounds.

That all being said, being completely closed on a Friday significantly impacts me and my two boys financially, as this business is our livelihood and how I pay our bills as a single mother. But I am happy to donate 10% of all my sales tomorrow to help immigrant families and also US citizens who are scared to leave their homes and need assistance/food.

I think it’s important to remember to give grace, be kind, make informed non-emotional decisions, lead with love and peace and spread good vibes even through all the adversity that is happening in our state and world right now.

Thank you for still supporting my business and thank you for being kind and helping support the diverse and beautiful communities that we have here in Minnesota. If I don’t see you tomorrow and you are those that are protesting peacefully, please be safe.
