One of our favorite days of the year: Symposium Day!!

It’s a chance for our clinicians to come together, share what they’re passionate about, and learn from each other to keep getting better for the people we serve.

Highlights from today:
• Dr. Harper (OSMS - Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Specialists) shared insights on neck pain, cervicogenic headaches and how PT + medical interventions work hand-in-hand.
• Logan Curry, PT, DPT, OCS, LAT(Appleton North clinic) broke down concussion care and the importance of aerobic exercise during the recovery process.
• Dennis Kaster, PT, DPT (Stevens Point & Wausau clinics) made headaches and neck pain easy to understand and refined our treatment strategies.
• Lynsey Hansen, LAT, ATC, PES and Anna Linstedt, LAT, ATC shared strategies for concussion management and return-to-work for industrial and tactical athletes.

Thank you to all who presented. We’re grateful to work alongside some of the best in the business!

Heading to one of our Appleton-area clinics?
Just a little reminder: sometimes there’s short-term discomfort on the road to long-term benefit…kind of like your journey with physical or occupational therapy.

Stay patient and plan for delays.

This isn’t a sit-back-and-scroll kind of presentation.

When Traci takes the floor, it doesn’t feel like a lecture.
It feels like a working session.

You’re on your feet. You’re asking questions. You’re practicing skills. You’re walking through real situations that mirror what your team faces every day.

The goal is simple: give you and your team tools you can use immediately.

- Injury prevention strategies that make sense.
- Gear-fit adjustments that relieve pain.
- Performance tips that fit your environment.
- Recovery tools your team will actually stick with.

March is Athletic Training Month, and this year’s theme says it perfectly:
Care You Can Count On.

Our athletic trainers are the calm in the chaos and the steady presence behind the scenes. They’re on the field under the lights, on the job site before the shift starts, and standing beside first responders when it matters most.

Through our sports medicine, industrial medicine, and tactical medicine programs, they prevent injuries, make critical calls, and help athletes of all ages, workers, and entire departments stay strong and ready.

To our athletic trainers — Thank You!
Your consistency, compassion, and expertise make a difference every single day. We truly couldn’t do this without you.

💬 Has one of our athletic trainers impacted you on the field, at work, or in your department?
Drop their name in the comments and let them know how much they’re appreciated.

Most people spent their weekend relaxing.

Some of our physical therapists and athletic trainers spent theirs saying things like, “You’ll feel a quick pinch,” followed by, “That twitch? That’s the spot.”

They invested their weekend learning dry needling: studying the science, refining their skills, and volunteering their own muscles along the way.

A little sore? Probably.
More skilled? Without a doubt.

We’re proud of their commitment to continuous growth and to doing whatever it takes to deliver the highest level of care, whether that’s in our clinics or alongside our industrial and tactical partners, helping people stay healthy, resilient, and ready for the demands of their job.

Meet Evan Laska, PT, DPT, one of the newest faces in our clinic. Before becoming a physical therapist, Evan served for 5 years in the United States Marine Corps.

When he came back home to Stevens Point, he went all in on PT, earning both his Health Science degree and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from UW–Stevens Point.

Evan works with all kinds of orthopedic conditions and builds treatment plans that actually fit real life.
No cookie‑cutter routines.
No “good luck with that.”
He pays attention to your goals, your limits, and what matters to you.

What do people love most about Evan?
He listens. Really listens. His focus is on helping you understand what your body’s trying to say and getting you back to the things that make your life feel like yours again.

He’s especially excited to connect with veterans and anyone who appreciates a therapist who brings a steady, grounded presence to the room.

Outside the clinic, you’ll find him outdoors, landscaping, playing hockey, or spending time with friends and family.
--
Evan will primarily see patients at our Stevens Point North clinic and help with our new location in Wausau.

Some of our clinicians hit pause on clinic life last week to soak up the California sun and all the incredible ideas and information shared at the APTA Combined Sections Meeting.

Every session and conversation was about one thing - finding better ways to help our patients heal, move, and live fully.

We’re back, recharged and ready to help you achieve your wildest dreams.
