Stop trying to silence survivors or police how they speak up against abuse. Our healing or timelines don’t require your approval.

And on the path of self-acceptance,
These twelve illusions you shall shed:

The illusion of being unwanted:
For, in truth, there is no such thing as an unwanted soul.

The illusion of being unlovable:
For your true self is love.

The illusion of unworthiness:
For you are always deserving of love and success.

The illusion of being weird:
For there is no such thing as normal.

The illusion of needing external validation:
For your worth is never dependent on another’s approval.

The illusion of being insignificant:
For your presence impacts all of humanity.

The illusion of being powerless:
For within you lies the strength to shape your destiny and influence the world.

The illusion of not being good enough:
For you were born good enough.

The illusion of being a burden:
For your existence is a precious gift, and your contributions add value.

The illusion of being unsuccessful:
For success is subjective, and your path is uniquely yours.

The illusion of being ugly:
Because that label only ever reflects the viewer being incapable of seeing beauty.

And the illusion that aging decreases your value:
For, in truth, you are not a body but a soul.

If you ended a relationship and later noticed she didn’t run into someone else’s arms… that she didn’t start posting nightlife photos, didn’t jump into distractions, didn’t try to prove she was “fine” — pay attention to that.

If instead she started waking up earlier. Running. Training. Taking care of her body. Taking care of her mind. Pulling back from noise. Distancing herself from everyone so she could rebuild quietly — that tells you something.

That wasn’t indifference.

That was heartbreak handled with discipline.

Some people cope by replacing. Others cope by numbing. But the rare ones? They cope by facing themselves. By sitting with the loss instead of escaping it. By turning pain into structure. By choosing growth over validation.

If she chose solitude over attention, improvement over revenge, silence over chaos — it’s because what she felt was real.

You don’t overhaul your life over something that didn’t matter.

You don’t retreat inward to rebuild unless something deeply affected you.

When someone truly loves, they don’t immediately look for a substitute. They process. They hurt. They question. They evolve. Not to prove a point — but because they refuse to let the pain destroy them.

And if you let someone like that walk away — someone who channels heartbreak into self-mastery instead of self-destruction — understand what that means.

You didn’t just lose a partner.

You lost someone who loved with depth. Someone who would have chosen growth over ego. Someone who, even in loss, chose integrity.

People like that are rare.

And once they’ve healed, they don’t come back the same.

Sometimes the greatest loss isn’t loud. It’s quiet. It’s realized later. It’s understood when the comparison becomes unavoidable.

And by then, the door isn’t just closed.

It’s transformed.

Shadow work is not aesthetic. It is not moody lighting and poetic captions. It is excavation.

The concept of the “shadow” was popularized by Carl Jung describing the unconscious aspects of ourselves we reject, suppress, or deny. The anger we were told was too much. The desire we were told was shameful. The ambition we were told was unfeminine. The grief we were told to swallow.

The shadow forms when authenticity becomes unsafe.

As children, we learn quickly what gets us love and what gets us corrected. The parts that threaten attachment are buried. But buried does not mean gone. It means powerful and operating unconsciously.

This is why triggers feel disproportionate. Why certain dynamics repeat. Why we sabotage what we claim to want.

Shadow work is the act of turning toward what you would rather avoid.

It is asking:
• What traits in others provoke me and why?
• Where am I performing instead of expressing?
• What emotion do I judge most harshly?
• What pattern keeps cycling in my relationships?

This is not about becoming darker.
It is about becoming whole.

When you integrate your shadow, you reclaim energy that was spent on repression. Anger becomes boundary. Desire becomes clarity. Grief becomes depth. Power becomes conscious instead of reactive.

The shadow is not evil. It is unintegrated power.

And the moment you stop fighting it, it stops fighting you.

Shadow work is not about becoming darker.
It is about becoming honest.

The shadow forms in the places where you learned that certain parts of you were unsafe to express. Anger that was called “too much.” Sensitivity that was labeled weakness. Desire that felt inconvenient. Boundaries that threatened approval.

So you adapted.

You split.
You polished the acceptable parts.
You hid the rest.

But what is buried does not disappear. It waits. It shows up in triggers, patterns, jealousy, overreactions, people-pleasing, resentment, control, avoidance. The shadow is not evil it is unintegrated power.

Shadow work is the practice of turning toward what you normally reject.

Not to shame it.
Not to indulge it.
But to understand it.

Because the moment you bring awareness to a pattern, you interrupt its control.

You stop projecting it onto others.
You stop blaming fate.
You stop repeating what you refuse to look at.

This path is not aesthetic. It is uncomfortable. It asks you to admit where you manipulate for validation. Where you abandon yourself for approval. Where you stay small to avoid rejection. Where you perform strength instead of feeling grief.

But on the other side of that honesty is integration.

And integration is freedom.

If you’re ready to begin, sit with these questions not to answer quickly, but to answer truthfully:
1. Where in my life am I resentful and what boundary have I not enforced?
2. What trait in others triggers me most and where does it live in me?
3. When do I perform a version of myself instead of being authentic?
4. What emotion do I avoid feeling at all costs and why?
5. If I stopped trying to be liked, what would immediately change?

Shadow work is not about fixing yourself.

It is about reclaiming the parts of you that never needed fixing only understanding.

Start there.

I've known about this practice for years... But it didn't click until today

While doing this, I received multiple downloads in regards to how eating for my chakras was healing my body... especially after a couple days of grounding upgrades, chakra recalibrations, travel, and big codes I received.

I didn't realize it until after I posted it, but I actually didn't eat anything for both my crown chakra and my throat chakra. Something to contemplate and discern on.

Eat red foods for your root chakra (base of the spine)
Eat orange foods for your sacral chakra (womb space or lower stomach)
Eat yellow foods for your solar chakra (area above the navel)
Eat green foods for your heart chakra
Eat blue foods for the throat & 3rd eye
Eat purple/white foods for your crown chakra ❤️
