Ran into an old friend … new location - Heidi’s Brooklyn Deli!

Imagine my delight to see the familiar Heidi’s Brooklyn Deli sign after all these years. My sister introduce me to the original Heidi’s, over 20 years ago. A staple on 33nd & Lowell, there was usually a line out the door! It was our favorite meeting place that brought people from all over the city to our little neighborhood square of shops for so many years that, when they announced their closure, we all mourned.

So, imagine my delight when I drove by the shops at 26th & Kipling and saw that old familiar sign! Turns out the daughters took the helm, opening this location just this past April. Stop buy, grab a sandwich, smoothie or both. There is plenty of seating to break bread with friends and family Brooklyn Deli style.

My mom and I had been traveling from store to store on my quest to try on Dansko shoes, curious if they were really THAT comfortable.
