Good morning ,
I hope everyone has a great first couple of days of bow hunting !
I wanted to let everyone know that I will not be in the shop for several days .
I recently got very sick and went to UVA ER. They told me that I was in a thyroid storm and needed to be admitted to the hospital. So I will be in the hospital for a few days until they clear me to be discharged .

If you have called me or attempted to reach me and I have not responded yet , I am sorry.
I will respond to you as soon as I am able.

Today, I had the pleasure of meeting and talking to Corey and Matthew about their new processing business. I’ve had several customers ask me over the years if there were any local processors in/near Appomattox, Va. I am happy to announce that we now have a local processor !
This year, they will be accepting deer for processing ! They offer a variety of cuts and specialty orders. They also offer caping for anyone who needs their animal caped for taxidermy.
And did I mention that they are working with HUNTERS FOR THE HUNGRY ?! Yes that’s right, you can donate any deer to a great cause that feeds millions of families each year.
Corey and Matthew were very knowledgeable about processing and are excited to offer their services to the Appomattox area.
I look forward to seeing their business grow in the future!

Here are pictures of a few mounts thats been worked on recently . Special thanks to my dad for working on the BIG half lifesize bear mount !
I was out of the shop for the past week due to having a tooth pulled and radiation Tuesday for my thyroid. . Im doing better now tho❤️

Back to working in the shop today .
Managed to work on this cute little otter ❤️

As of today (8-1-25) , I will be changing a few things in my policy for the shop and there is also a few price changes.

*NO work will commence until atleast a 1/2 deposit has been paid towards the total of the mount

*NO dry tans will be sent to the tannery until atleast a half deposit is paid towards the total.

If your Mount/hide is soon to be worked on/tanned and a deposit is not made , I will be contacting you .

Skulls and art ❤️💀

Finished up a whitetail wall pedestal mount with a custom barnwood/oak bark backing . Hand sculpted and shaped to recreate a wood effect . Hand painted and added some fine moss for a weathered effect 🌿

Once they are dry and some finish work , they will be ready to go home !
