🧠✔️ Mindset Check: 3 things you must go to war with!
Have you ever felt like YOU are getting in your own way from being successful? You have to be willing to go to war with yourself. Specifically these 3 things…
3 THINGS YOU NEED TO GO TO WAR WITH:
đź”´ COMPLACENCY.
Are you just going through the motions? Are you not really striving for growth or progress because you have become comfortable where you are, even when there might be room for improvement or challenges ahead?
This can leave you vulnerable to unexpected setbacks and missed opportunities. This is one of the main reasons I set goals. It keeps you striving towards betterment!
đź”´ MONOTONY.
Is what you’re doing so repetitive and predictable that its lost its spark and become boring or not challenging? This is when intent goes out the window and you aren’t really giving it your best effort.
Don’t be fooled…I know fitness can feel repetitive and monotonous but it comes back to effort. You must be willing to keep the focus and do things that helps keep that excitement alive.
Workout with a partner, go to a new gym, get a new playlist, or incorporate a fun activity!
đź”´ LETTING EXTERNAL CIRCUMSTANCES TAKE CONTROL.
Letting these things take control of your actions is like handing over the steering wheel to your life. Work stress, family obligations, bad weather, unexpected events will ALWAYS be there but they don’t have to derail you!
Recognize the power of choice. Prioritize what you can control- effort, attitude, and consistency.
Build a strong why.
A big one… ADAPT, don’t abandon. Don’t have time for a full workout? 20 minutes. Don’t have time to cook? Choose the best option you can.
Remember you are stronger than what’s happening around you and your journey depends on how you fight back!! 💥🥊
