It may be weird, but I can’t seem to take down my Halloween decorations. I have been enjoying all the lights creating a beautiful space around my sand tray. Maybe it will stay til next Halloween ;)🎃.

So much power in creative writing . I was watching this story and it brought hope to all these wonderful people making a difference in the lives of others.

After spending a decade as a crime reporter, CNN Hero Debra Des Vignes created the Indiana Prison Writers Workshop, a nonprofit writing program that helps incarcerated people work through trauma and find community.

Travel can be rough but finally getting to The Art of Living Retreat Center in Boone, NC was worth it. My training room or shall I say ASHRAM is magical. Tomorrow, I get to wake up to the breathttaking mountains. Then, I need to pick up 50lbs of sand and set up our space. It was really cool how wonderful everybody is here and how fascinated they were to learn about sandtray therapy. This is obviously the first sandtray retreat at their center. Wouldn’t it be cool if one day these type of retreats would be done regularly at all these retreat centers. Baby steps! #
