DPAC is advancing a critical mission: ensuring equitable access to quality health care for every American living with, or at risk for, diabetes, which impacts more people than you think.

We believe in the power of storytelling to create change and are proud to support organizations that uplift diverse voices and empower the next generation of changemakers like Youthcast Media Group (YMG) — a nonprofit that helps high school students from underrepresented communities tell powerful stories about the issues shaping their lives.

Last week, Anne Woodbury, Stephanie Wight and Juliet Thomas attended YMG’s Third Annual Student Showcase in D.C. to celebrate these incredible young journalists, where AP reporter Gary Fields put it best:

“Diversity is about difference of experience. Reporting a story is objective, but choosing what to report on is subjective. You tell the stories other people don’t see.”

Meet the amazing Elliott—an ambassador for this year's Race for Every Child Heart 5k Run/Walk and son of CURA's very own Sarah Whitworth! Elliott is a courageous CHD patient proudly representing the strength of many other kids living with congenital heart disease.

CURA is honored to support Children’s National Hospital's Heart Center in their mission to deliver lifesaving care for kids like Elliott.

Founded in 2016, CURA Strategies is a bipartisan integrated strategic communications and public affairs agency exclusively focused on health and wellness with one central goal: to transform health care.

What we do is help patients - how we do it is through integrative communications.

So while our day-to-day involves creative, strategic communications, what we’re really doing is helping patients every day by partnering with our clients to promote and accelerate their innovations and research into medical practice so that it benefits patients across medical fields, from cardiac and organ health to mental health and addiction.
