This week, a few of us at CURA had the opportunity to tour the Chesterfield County Jail and learn about the Helping Addicts Recover Progressively (HARP) program to help us better understand one of the communities we support through our work.
The HARP program supports individuals with substance use disorder (SUD) in their recovery by uniquely addressing both the symptoms and underlying causes of SUD. Evidence-based treatments are paired with trauma-informed programming to give each individual the tools and support they need to sustain recovery.
It was an incredibly moving experience that underscores the importance of our work and inspires to continue delivering results-driven work for our clients in the addiction recovery space.
