March was full of connection and impact! š From the Collin County Foster Parent Recruitment Event, to being recognized by OCOK for keeping siblings together, this month was a reminder of why we do what we do.
Our CKFS team prioritized their well-being through our March Wellness Bracket, taking time to recharge as they continue pouring into others, and spent fellowship time together with our office potlucks.

Are you interested in working with kids with challenging circumstances? There is a desperate need for Professional Foster Parents to work with high-needs kids in Texas. These kids have likely experienced multiple changes in placements and have probably been in Residential Treatment Centers or Psychiatric Hospitals.
CK PROFESSIONAL FOSTER PARENTS ARE GUARANTEED $1500 PER MONTH WHETHER THEY HAVE A CHILD IN THEIR HOME OR NOT!!
CK Family Services is currently accepting applications from Professional Foster Parents who want to join our Treatment Foster Care Team. Teams consist of the Treatment Foster Care Family (Professional Foster Parent(s)), Case Manager, Clinical Support Specialist, Therapist, and other specialists. CK Treatment Foster Care Teams focus on the needs of one child or one child and their siblings at a time. The goal of each CK Treatment Foster Care Team is to promote stability and permanence in the life of children who have challenging behaviors and multiple placements.
Treatment Foster Care Families are an essential part of the Treatment Team. They provide the child with a physical home, nutritious meals, clothing, appropriate educational experience, transportation and function as the primary caregiver and medical consenter for a child placed in their home. Treatment Foster Care Families work in the Treatment Team to develop and implement interventions and make decisions relating to the best interest of a child.
Qualified families must have at least one parent who has a flexible schedule will be available to participate in daily meetings via telephone, email, and face-to-face as the key member of the Treatment Team. Families must meet State Minimum Standards including participating in initial and ongoing training, initial inspection and maintenance of their physical property/home, and maintain the consistent ability to provide all necessary transportation for the child in the Teams care.
CK Family Services provides Treatment Foster Care Families (Professional Foster Parents) with financial support to assist in maintaining one flexible parent and to ensure availability of funds to implement plans and meet the childās needs. CK provides the whole team with initial training in Treatment Foster Care but then also provides ongoing training specific to enhancing the skills and abilities of each team to meet the unique needs of the specific child placed in the Teamās care.
