It was my own reluctant journey through the shadows that led me back to myself, back to my intuition, and into a feeling of more alignment and purpose.
💫 It’s why I incorporate plant medicine, psych-delic healing and spiritual alignment into therapy with clients - because reconnecting inward through the healing wisdom within is what’s been missing in the clinical mental health space for so long.
💫Everything we need is already within.
💫If this resonates, comment “joy” to learn how to work with plant medicine 🍄 and psych-delic healing for your own pathway to peace.

Becoming unf**kwithable isn’t about building walls so high nothing can reach you. It’s about becoming so rooted in yourself that you no longer abandon your needs, your truth or your power to keep others comfortable.

Hardness is a trauma response (valid as it may be). Finding your true power leads to compassion without self-betrayal, openness without naivety, and kindness without people pleasing.

Many women were taught that strength means enduring more, tolerating more, shrinking to fit in. But the strongest version of you is the one who listens to her body, trusts her intuition and walks away from what diminishes her. Even when it’s inconvenient, misunderstood or lonely at first.

You don’t have to become cold to become powerful or lose your heart to protect it. Healing allows you to stay warm, loving and deeply human; while also being clear, self-led and impossible to manipulate.

If you’ve been told you’re “too sensitive,” “too intense” or “too much” there is nothing wrong with you and you.

You were never meant to be easy to control.

If you've been looking for a way to offer clients or the community immediate and tangible relief from chronic stress, trauma, and dysregulation (aka the current state of America) - you don't want to miss this upcoming training.

Acudetox/Acuwellness is a 5-point ear acupuncture protocol that therapists can add to their healing toolbox as a way to offer immediate support and relief to clients and the community.

In community settings, Acudetox groups can help people connect and experience the power of collective healing in a safe way that doesn't have to involve verbal processing. Acudetox specialists can set up mobile clinics at disaster sites or to support disaster victims (such as the clinic in NY after 9/11), communities that have experienced tragedies, communities experiencing oppression, and anywhere else this modality may be beneficial.

It works directly on calming and regulating the nervous system, reducing anxiety and ruminating/intrusive thoughts, releasing tension and alleviating pain, and bringing the energy flow of the body back into balance and harmony.

⭐Acupuncture as Revolution! What we're doing is offering people a powerful treatment that is cheap, accessible, and promotes internal resilience, motivation and healing without a prescription - and the system doesn't always like that much.

As a therapist who is also a social worker at heart, I believe in the inherent worth, good and dignity of all. I also believe in challenging corrupt and oppressive systems. Harm is harm regardless of the policy creating it and the collective and individual trauma we are experiencing causes immediate and lasting generational damage. It’s heavy and exhausting out there. Know that you are seen, your voice matters, your experience matters, your life matters. ❤️

It’s been a year of ups and downs, with still so much to be grateful for. There was a time I would never put myself out in front of groups, let alone organize a community collective and become a trainer for a national organization. Looking forward to where 2026 may go.

Researchers at the University of California San Francisco carried out a clinical study to evaluate whether psilocybin, the active compound in magic mushrooms, could help people living with Parkinsons disease. The condition affects movement, mood, and cognitive processing, which makes it difficult to treat with standard medication alone.

Participants in the study received a controlled psilocybin session under medical supervision. At the one week follow up researchers observed meaningful improvements in mood stability, emotional resilience, and clarity of thought. Participants also showed signs of better motor coordination, including smoother movement and improved control.

When the team reassessed the group one month later many of the benefits remained. The improvements did not replace regular treatment but added support in areas where patients often struggle the most, such as depression and cognitive slowdown. The findings suggest that psilocybin may offer an additional tool for improving quality of life in Parkinsons, though larger studies are needed before the treatment can be widely adopted.
