Do you struggle with these breathing related anxiety symptoms?

When we feel anxious, the adrenaline that is released in our bodies can impact our awareness and how we’re breathing.

This can often make us feel light headed, or like we aren’t breathing ‘properly’ and this can fuel the loop of anxiety.

Addressing these symptoms in the moment may look like:

- Take a few deep and intentional breaths
- Using your senses to engage the world around you and ground yourself in the moment
- Wiggling your fingers or toes and focusing on that sensation
- Humming or singing to activate your vagus nerve

Continuing to find practices that help to regulate your nervous system evem when you aren’t feeling anxious can help begin to shift your body and mind to a state of calm again.
