As the fall season comes to a close, so do my books! 📚

I am so grateful for those who choose to work with me. I’m learning, growing and healing alongside all of you. Thank you for being vulnerable, for challenging me, and for helping me see the beauty in the world.

I’m still doing consultations and I’m using a waitlist for future clients.

When considering accessibility it is about more than a ramp.

Folks who have worked with me as a therapist in a professional relationship, I’d love to hear some honest feedback. How was your experience referring clients to me? How do you feel about my style, approach and interventions with clients? Would you recommend me as a therapist? Anything else I should know?

If you’d like to leave a public Google review, that would be helpful to inform future referring professionals or potential clients. My business is Ellet Durbin, LCSW PLLC.

As a therapist, it is against our ethics to request client feedback. I have provided services through Betterhelp during the past year as I've grown my private practice. Betterhelp requests anonymous client feedback and provides me with this feedback. 300 sessions! I'm always shooting for 100%, and I humbly accept the challenge to continue to work toward that goal.

I'm SO enjoying finding my niche, and I hope to serve my clients in the most helpful way possible. Staying humble, there is always room to grow!

Happy LGBTQIA Pride Month! Let's continue to be inspired by the radical Black and Brown Trans Women who risked their lives to lead the fight for justice. Think about this- Trans woman of color are the most vulnerable population. They face a unique and dangerous blend of sexism, racism and transphobia. They are at the highest risk of being abused or killed. We must continue to protect our most vulnerable. Pride is both a celebration and a call to action.

Pictured below are Sylvia Rivera and Marsha P. Johnson, two leaders of the LGBTQIA revolution. The fight is not over, folks!
