The Turkish get up!! 👱🏼‍♀️”Who made this up?” 🖤 In all seriousness there is a purpose! The Turkish Get-Up has roots in ancient warrior training, where soldiers used it to build strength, stability, and readiness for battle. Umm, yes to anything that makes us more warrior like 👊 Today, it’s a powerhouse full-body exercise—especially for women over 40. It strengthens the core, improves balance, builds functional strength, and supports joint health. It’s low-impact, deeply empowering, and one of the best moves for staying strong, capable, and confident at any age.

💪🏼🦴Strong bones start with strong impact.

Women start losing bone density as early as our 40s — but we don’t have to accept it. Research shows that a few minutes of jump and impact training per day can rebuild bone strength — even turning osteopenia back to normal in just a few months.

As women over 40, we are feeling the shift into new territory. It doesn’t mean for “better or worse”, it means more wisdom, more capacity for resilience, more focus, more fire, and more than ever the grit to BE more because now we can. This week is EXPLOSIVE POWER💥 week, it’s a studio favorite 🩶 We’re training fast twitch so we can react faster, catch ourselves when we inevitably fall, own our movement and taking our own power back. 👊It’s fun, it’s a higher cardiovascular hit and we know we’ll be stronger because of it.

We say it all the time at Oso…👉”it’s in the stillness that we grow”. The heavy load strength training weeks lead to rest days, days of literal stillness and restoration. THIS is where the magic happens✨. Where cells rebuild, new muscle is formed, and the nervous system can feel fully rejuvenated for another week ahead. Oh so Sundays are where we slow down enough to listen- to the breath, to the body, and the quiet strength carrying us forward.✨🐻✨ Take it in.
