We’re proud to celebrate newly licensed nurses Hayley Kanzig, LPN and Amber Ritchie, LPN—a dedicated mother-daughter duo who recently earned their nursing licenses together! 👩👧👏
Their journey is a powerful example of growth, perseverance, and the special bond that comes from supporting one another every step of the way at Brethren Care Village—where they are now both serving residents as nurses in the Health Care Center.
💙 Hayley Kanzig, LPN
With 5 years of service, Hayley began her career as a CNA and is now stepping into her new role as an LPN. She’s inspired by the everyday moments—whether it’s a smile, a thank you, or seeing a resident improve. For Hayley, building relationships and providing comfort and consistency during vulnerable times is what makes her work so meaningful.
💙 Amber Ritchie, LPN
Also celebrating 5 years at BCV, Amber brings over 15 years of healthcare experience to her new role. Previously a MA, CNA, she pursued nursing to make a deeper impact—helping residents regain independence or supporting them as they transition into long-term care with compassion and dignity. When her daughter decided to go to nursing school, Amber chose to follow that dream alongside her—making this accomplishment even more special.
Together, Hayley and Amber show us the true meaning of dedication, family, and following your dreams—no matter where you are in your journey. 💫
