🧪 Clay County Rural Emergency Hospital Laboratory Services 🧪

As part of our Rural Emergency Hospital (REH) transition, the Clay County Hospital (CCH) Laboratory will continue providing essential laboratory services to support:

✅ Emergency Department
✅ Outpatient Services
✅ Same-Day Surgery
✅ Clay County Nursing Home
✅ Surrounding healthcare facilities

Our laboratory is proudly open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ensuring timely, accurate testing whenever care is needed.

Our dedicated team of 8 full-time professionals brings a combined 150+ years of experience, with more than 130 of those years served right here in the our Laboratory—a true testament to the commitment and continuity of care in our community.

Our staff includes:
• 2 Laboratory Assistants
• 1 Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
• 5 Medical Laboratory Scientists (MLS)

Together, our laboratory team looks forward to continuing to provide dependable, compassionate service to you and your family as we move forward as Clay County Rural Emergency Hospital.

Meet Terlisa Phillips, CNA
Hospice of Clay County

“I have been a CNA for 29 years and have worked in nursing homes for the majority of my career. I’ve always loved making my patients’ day better if possible and letting them know that I am here for them. I joined Clay County Hospice — to continue doing what I love, just a little closer to home.”

David has served as the Hospice Chaplain for more than a decade, offering comfort, prayer, and support to patients and families during some of life’s most sacred moments.

When asked why he loves working in hospice, he simply replied:

“Because God called me to do it.”
