Yosemite Medical Education Foundation YMEF was formed to continue “Emergency Medicine in Yosemite”, conferences. Deanna M. Janey, Event Coordinator djaney@yosemitemef.org.

The Yosemite Medical Education Foundation (YMEF) has been formed to carry on a 38-year tradition, “Emergency Medicine in Yosemite.” This unique course, co-sponsored by the California Chapter of ACEP, presents a first class CME program in one of the world’s most beautiful and inspirational places, Yosemite Valley, at a time when the Park is essentially empty and the weather is wonderful. Afternoons are kept free for group hikes or other outdoor activities (downhill and cross country skiing and snow shoeing) and scheduled Ranger activities. The program is unique in that it has a parallel evening program for the entire family, with artists and photographers presenting their work and speakers with expertise in all manner of subject relating to the ‘human condition.’ Please check www.yosemitemef.org regarding CME details. We hope you will join us each year for “outstanding courses in a most spiritual environment”! If you have never been to Yosemite, this will be an experience you will never forget.
