Every baby deserves a safe place to sleep. 💚

Athens-Limestone Hospital is proud to support efforts across Alabama to educate families about infant safe sleep. Through initiatives like Project C.R.I.B.S. from the Alabama Perinatal Quality Collaborative, hospitals are working together to help parents and caregivers create safer sleep environments and reduce sleep-related infant deaths.

Remember the ABCs of Safe Sleep:
✔ Alone – Baby sleeps alone
✔ Back – Always place baby on their back
✔ Crib – Use a firm, flat surface in a crib, bassinet, or pack-and-play

Kacey brings more than 25 years of maternal–child health experience and a deep commitment to family-centered care and patient safety. We’re excited for the leadership, expertise, and heart she brings to our team.

The Baby Place at Athens-Limestone Hospital is hosting a Car Seat Safety Check & Installation event with our Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians on Tuesday, December 9th.

If you’re unsure about your car seat install, transitioning to the next stage, or just want peace of mind that your little one is riding safely, this is the perfect time to stop by. ✔️💛

Our technicians will:
• Check your car seat for proper installation
• Answer safety questions
• Provide hands-on help and education

Whether you’re a first-time parent, needing a refresher, or preparing older siblings for a new arrival, we’ve got something for everyone. Our classes include:
