Our day-to-day, go, go, go lifestyles can lead to a build up of emotional stress that manifests itself as physical pain, fatigue, slow digestion, heart burn, weight gain, back aches, neck aches, headaches. We are not regularly taught how to process and digest our feelings but instead judge them as painful, ugly, or negative, and push them deeper. Holding onto emotions is like holding onto a powerful electromagnetic event. Holding leads to bigger troubles as inflammation and pain develop over time as these energy blockages begin to stack up in the physical body. The importance of relaxing in order to re-establish a good connection with our emotions is tremendous and truly the key to health and well-being. With acupressure, certain contact points in the body are known from 2,000+ years of experience to release tension, stress, and facilitate healing using energy meridians. Reiki helps by working the same energy meridians in a gentle way. Quantum healing works these same energy meridians in a stronger way. I love to combine them all for a healthy rebalance. With reiki we can relax the mind and allow for a deep release and reconnect the physical body, energy body, heart, and soul. This new realignment allows ones body to heal. I recommend 3 sessions initially to help uncover and rework the many layers of emotional traumas and realign the physical with the energy body for maximum well-being.

What a whirlwind! I’m grateful to my sisters for being willing to try the daunting task of bringing mom to the west-coast and travel with her.
This was the first trip we have all had together since West Virginia for Mom’s 70th birthday over 8 years ago. So grateful we did it. I’m still processing exhaustion, grief, and joy from the trip. It’s a lot to walk with someone suffering from brain damage. So many special needs appear. It’s constant navigation. But capturing the joy and sharing the love is worth the journey. Focusing on the glimmers is an art form. And a requirement…

Had a great day showing my mom Botanical Gardens. She even sat in the Squirrel Hammock with me! I’m striving to find what she can do rather than feel the limits of what she can’t.
Being present and staying centered is a daily practice that allows me to have room. This is an art form of real-time processing grief and making room for joy in the moment to maintain patience as a caregiver. My Reiki and meditation practice has given me such incredible tools. I am so grateful.

The vibrant green of freshly made tincture using fresh herbs is a beautiful sight. Pigment is one of the first properties that the alcohol pulls from the plant, making that vibrant green short lived. The color moves from the plant into the alcohol and by tomorrow the top row of brilliant green skullcap tincture will have already faded to look more like the jars on the other shelves. Making medicine from plants is truly magical✨
