Today’s world 🌎 fails to recognize the true desire and nature of these dogs, each and every specific breed from a sight hound to a mastiff has or had an original purpose. Neglecting the dogs instinctively bred abilities is only fair to the general public not the dogs. Retrievers want to retrieve, hounds want to hunt, Grey Hounds want to run, Collies want to herd , Bulldogs want to fight . All dogs created in our hands with no choice but to be what they are should be allowed to do what they were naturally bred to do or close to it. No this doesn’t mean I condone fighting your pitbull but it was it’s purpose, which is why it’s NOT a pet, nor do I condone placing dogs unfit for working situations in them. Either way as always for and to the benefit of the dogs we have fun and engage ALL aspects of the dog 🐕 💯‼️

If they like it I love it 🐁🐀🧬💯‼️

It’s been a pleasure of BARk’s to assist in the building of any dog or trainer to become better or reach a desired goal.

GOING FROM GREEN TO RED REAL SOON🔥💨‼️

BARk does it’s best to provide QUALITY WORK every session, by recognizing where the dog is in its training and what the owner and trainers desired results or goals are. We don’t single handily work the dog we do our best to come in twos ✌🏾, to not only keep the dog hot/engaged but to compliment one another’s short comings for the benefit of the dog. Ensuring each dog walks away with a win ‼️

During this session we saw a lot of progress and learned some things about the dog to be corrected next session. Exposing holes in the dog prior to labeling them as “Personal Protection “ dogs is vital, no dog walks away with the BARk stamp of approval without firs breaking through ALL thresholds and exhibiting TRUE desire to protect and work. Given the age and stage of this Dogo in his protection progress he’s doing very well, it’s evident he didn’t realize until today the “BAD GUY” can and will try and HURT you.

Gonna work some more sends and harness work and build even higher confidence in this boy with a change of environment AND THEN re-introduce some pain! The ONLY direction is forward for both the dogs and our goals. Nothings been BROKEN , nor will it be if we can’t BUILD em we DONT break em 💯👍🏾‼️

It’s never my recommendation or advise to work dogs with out wearing PROPER EQUIPMENT, but if you do just REMEMBER there’s always a risk involved. With that being said I trust the trainer here and you can see the level of control the dog possesses and communication between handler and dog, has been breeding , training and handling dogs longer than most of us have been in the game. It’s always a joy to walk his yard see what he’s cooking up . We have very similar interest and understanding when it comes to dog and dog behaviors and enjoy testing the abilities and willingness of each one.

Had fun knocking some dust of this beautiful machine here owned by , he’s invited BARk to come and assist in the building of Dogo named “Duke”, but couldn’t resist the chance to work his personal Malinois. She’s not too shabby at all, love the way trains and communicates with ALL his dogs 🐕 👍🏾💯‼️

Transformation Tuesday going out to no other than, The “Kookie” 🍪 Monster‼️. She’s maturing so PERFECTLY in almost every way imaginable and unimaginable. The genetics 🧬 are so strong , every characteristic trait I’ve read about or that have been described to me by breed mentors is MORE than evident in this girl right here!

“Kookie” has drive and determination for days, her level of courage accompanied with athleticism is truly unmatched by ANY other dog/puppy I’ve seen before. Her structure and conformation AMAZE me, even for a YOUNG FEMALE puppy her strength 💪🏾 and physique are phenomenal. Most importantly she’s got brains 🧠 too , already equipped with her basic OBEDIENCE we are well on our way to preparing a sport dog like the USA has never seen. 👍🏾💯🙏🏾‼️

Big Thanks goes out to and for allowing me the opportunity to work under you guys and learn about such an awesome breed, most of all for TRUSTING BARk with your girl 🙏🏾💯‼️

Moving FORWARD Monday ‼️ I’ve come to realize ☝🏾 one thing in this Dog Game wether Training , Breeding , Competition, Working or just your average Pet Owner, CONSISTENCY is key 🔑 💯‼️

Almost every component of life when combined with consistency and genuine efforts results in IMPROVEMENT in that specific area or goal. Given the knowledge , resources and most of all TIME that we have available to us we CAN not only make a change but have an impact and leave a POSITIVE mark on history. This doesn’t have to always pertain to dogs but of course for BARk it does.

BARk believes in and PRACTICES , CONSISTENCY in ALL aspects :

I’m posting this as a follow up from my earlier post explaining that it’s the RESPONSIBILITY of the Owner to continue engaging the dog in both training and routine in order to build and mold the dog into the companion or working dog you would like.
So again here’s me with one of my own dogs who I’ve been training and I’ve gone from having her off leash to on, found she’s reluctant to “STAY” on leash , and my handling skills were off helping encourage poor positions and timing. So after reviewing this video i made adjustments the NEXT day. You can ALWAYS get better and the dogs CAN always learn new things or the right way. The point is you won’t know if your not working daily and it’s NEVER the dogs fault if you’re not getting the results you want , it’s ALWAYS the owner or handler. So don’t rush your pups , take your@time and take the pressure of your Dog and Trainers and place it back on yourselves, the dog didn’t ask to come to your home and we the trainers didn’t make you get them but I promise you the right attitude and consistent work as a responsible dog owner will take you far and the Dogs WILL love , appreciate and recognize this.

Not a lot of “Bullies” can turn my head , especially these days, but boy oh boy do I love this dog here, the one and only “Riddick” father to no other than our favorite bully “Ernesto”.

“Riddick” didn’t just have the looks but the drive to match , before the bully breed was taken down to dark a path these guys were doing it right, with some Singletons blood , some HBK and Ironcross Blood I couldn’t go wrong at the time.

Not all these dogs can work or even want to but sometimes you can find a specimen like “Riddick” who@will put produce@themselves and give you gold 💪🏾✅💯🙏🏾‼️

The new current craze behind Corsos and Mastiffs/Mastinos lately makes me wonder a lot of things. Mainly how many people other than opening a book , reading on the web , or just co signing on another mans opinion, have actually OWNED or LIVED with multiple Mastiff type breeds.

I’ve been lucky enough to experience , work with and even own most ALL mastiff breeds. Some were originals ,properly bred with every characteristic trait and conformation requirements and some were just good ole Bandogges , either way the similarities I came to love and appreciate were not just the size and capabilities but surprisingly 🧠 smart and MOST of ALL loyal. These dogs with out any help developed their own protective nature’s and never upset or bucked pack hierarchy. Making great companions for not only me but my other dogs I knew I’d have one for life. I can’t stress enough how important it is to make sure you’re prepared for what comes with these dogs, from medical bills to daily maintenance there’s nothing LOW maintenance about these guys. Mastiffs equal more food , more space , more time , more money 💰! Don’t just grab one to ride the wave 🌊, make sure both your heart ❤️ and wallet are in it 💯% before you commit and don’t be swayed into picking the wrong Mastiff based on looks or supposed capabilities, each type varies extremely Corso , Neo , English , Bull , Presa , Tosa , Bandogge , Tibetan each dog had or still has a specific purpose and NOT everyone of them want to be a couch potato 🥔 nor does everyone of em really wanna be a MAN STOPPER.

So 🛑 and ask yourself am I really ready for this or do I just like what I see?
